Mechanical Testing Laboratory Services

We are an ISO 9001:2015 certified, ABS approved mechanical testing laboratory serving clients nationwide since 1996.  We accurately report the physical properties of your metal by combining CNC technology with industry standard test methods.

Unlike many testing laboratories which include testing the physical properties of your metal as part of their business, mechanical testing IS our business.  We specialize in destructive metal testing for the purpose of determining the physical properties of your material in order to provide you with the necessary information you need to make critical decisions regarding your project.

By using Quality Testing, Inc. for your mechanical testing needs, you can be sure to avoid potential liability from accidents caused by using the wrong material or welding procedures for your specific application.

"Accurate Results on Time through Technology"

Many mechanical testing laboratories still use out-dated equipment that produces sub-par test specimens which leads to unreliable mechanical test data. We take special care to fabricate your test samples within tight tolerances, according to specific ASTM, ASME, AWS,  or ABS standards using our in-house machine shop with highly sophisticated CNC milling centers and industrial grade band saws.   Fabricating precise test samples ensures that you receive superior quality data in a timely fashion.

We Look Forward to Earning Your Business

Other metallurgical test labs talk about fast turn-around-times and attention to detail, but they do not talk about what is truly important:
  • Superior quality data
  • Easy-to-read reports, and
  • One-on-one customer service

If you need further understanding of how a testing standard like ASME-IX applies to our test results, then give us a call at 1-888-611-3076, contact us, or fill out our quick RFQ, and we will give you the personal attention you need to help you interpret your results.
